Office curtains in Dubai, made to handle the glare
Most of what an office window treatment has to do is manage light on screens — the low sun that arrives from the middle of the afternoon, and the reflection it puts on every monitor facing it.
We measure at your own windows, make the curtains to size and install them. Free measuring across Dubai, with the fabric range brought to the office.
Measured at the office
Someone comes to you with the fabric range, measures the glazing and checks what the bulkhead above it will take.
Made to the opening
Long runs of glass rarely divide evenly. Curtains are made to the track the room actually needs, in the drop the ceiling gives you.
Altered when the floor changes
Fit-outs move. We alter, repair and clean what we've made, and refit tracks when the layout changes around them.
Glare is the problem to solve
A west-facing floor plate in Dubai gets difficult from the middle of the afternoon. The sun drops low enough to come in under any overhang, straight down the length of the room, and it lands on the screens people are working at.
A sheer handles most of that. It diffuses the light instead of blocking it, so the room stays daylit and the view stays, but the hard reflection goes. Where a room has to go properly dark — a meeting room with a projector, or one facing east — a blackout curtain behind the sheer, or instead of it, does that.
Motorized tracks are worth considering where the glazing is high or runs behind desks and cabinets. A curtain nobody can reach ends up staying where it is.

Curtains, blinds, or both
A modern office fit-out in Dubai is usually full-height glass in wide bays, and different parts of a floor want different answers. Office window curtains are rarely one decision for the whole plate — what suits an open-plan area rarely suits the meeting room beside it.
Vertical blinds track across a long run and tilt to cut the sun without closing the view, which is why they turn up on open-plan floors. Roller blinds sit tight to the glass and disappear when they're up. Curtains soften a room that is otherwise all hard surfaces, and they do more for the sound of it than anything else you can hang — glass on one side and plasterboard on the other makes a room ring, and heavy cloth takes the edge off that.
Meeting rooms, reception and private offices often end up with different treatments, and there's no reason they have to match beyond the colour.

Office curtains in different styles

How the fitting goes in an occupied office
Tower ceilings usually have a gypsum bulkhead with a curtain pocket already formed in it, which is the straightforward case: the track fixes up inside the pocket and nothing shows. Where there's no pocket, the fixing still has to find the framing behind the plasterboard rather than the board itself, or the track comes down with the curtain on it.
We'll tell you at the measuring visit what the installation involves at your windows — how long it takes, how much drilling, and what has to be clear of the glass line while it's going in — so it can be planned around the floor rather than sprung on it.
