These are the base rates Curtains Express charges, and what each one includes. The middle column turns each rate into a price per m² of window, so you can hold it against a quote priced that way.
They are for a window that can be fitted without scaffolding. Tall glass, and other things about the job, can add to the fitting: see what costs extra.

Motorized curtains are priced in three parts, worked out further down. For honeycomb, duplex, panel, venetian or bamboo blinds, send the sizes on WhatsApp and we will price them.
What a two-bedroom flat comes to
Here is one flat, priced room by room from the rates above. The sizes are only an example, so send yours for your own figure.
Blinds come out cheaper here because a blind has no fullness. It is priced on the window's own area.
A whole flat also counts as a larger order, and that gets a better rate than single windows. We work it out at the measuring visit.

What the price includes, and what costs extra
In the price
- The track, or a regular pole for eyelet curtains, and a double track or double pole where a sheer hangs with a blackout.
- The four-pass silicone blackout lining in every blackout curtain.
- The headrail and its chain or cords on every blind.
- The fitting, and the measuring visit, which is free.
Costs extra
- Work at height. A window that needs scaffolding or access equipment to reach, such as double-height glass, costs more to fit, and so can other things about the job. We price that at the measuring visit, once we have seen the window.
- A motor and its motorized track. Tracks are AED 110 to AED 200 per metre and motors AED 700 to AED 1,600, fitted and programmed. Remotes, switches and hubs come on top.
- An upgraded curtain pole, ladder tapes on a faux wood blind, and some faux wood finishes.
- Fabrics outside the standard range, such as linen, chiffon, organza and embroidered sheers.
- A blackout lining behind a dimout or sheer roman blind, AED 45 per m².
A motorized window, worked out
You pay for the curtain at its usual rate, the motorized track by the metre, and the motor, fitted and programmed.
A 200 × 300 cm blackout in pinch pleat on a Dooya track with a wired motor comes to AED 540 + AED 220 + AED 700 = AED 1,460.

Per m² of fabric, or per m² of window?
Two quotes can both say AED 45 per m² and mean different things. We charge a curtain on its fabric: the window's width times the heading's fullness times the drop. A 200 × 300 cm window is 6 m² of glass, and a pinch-pleat curtain for it is 12 m² of fabric, because pinch pleat is gathered to twice the width.
Per m² of the window itself, then, a blackout curtain comes to AED 90 in pinch pleat and AED 112.50 in ripple fold or eyelet, and a sheer to AED 70 or AED 87.50. When another quote is priced on the window's area, set it against those figures rather than the rate.
A blind hangs flat, so its rate is already per m² of window. That is why a blackout curtain in pinch pleat and a roller blind come out level, at AED 90 per m² of glass.
Cheap curtains in Dubai, honestly
If the cheapest curtain is what you want, it is a ready-made panel from a homeware store, and on a small window of a standard size that is the right answer. On a tall or wide window the difference shows. Move across the picture: both sides are illustrations of one window, not a job of ours.

Ready-made panels come in a few set widths and drops, so on a tall or wide window they stop short of the floor or leave the glass uncovered at the sides, and the light comes in round them.

Made to measure, the least we charge per m² of window is AED 70, for a sheer in pinch pleat. A sunscreen vertical blind comes to AED 80, and a blackout curtain in pinch pleat or a roller blind to AED 90.
To spend less on the same window, choose pinch pleat over ripple fold or eyelet. It takes a fifth less fabric. Leave out the sheer where you don't need privacy by day. And across a wide run of glass, look at a sunscreen vertical blind.
Questions about curtain and blind prices
How much do curtains cost in Dubai?
Ours start at AED 35 per m² of fabric for a sheer and AED 45 for a blackout, with the track and the fitting included. A 200 × 300 cm window comes to AED 420 for a sheer in pinch pleat, AED 540 for a blackout, or AED 960 for both on a double track.
Ripple fold (wave) and eyelet take a quarter more fabric than pinch pleat, so the same window is AED 525, AED 675 or AED 1,200.
How much do blinds cost in Dubai?
Vertical blinds start at AED 80 per m², roller blinds are AED 90, roman blinds AED 180 and faux wood blinds AED 210, each with the headrail and the fitting included.
A blind is priced on its own area, with a minimum: 2 m² for roller and faux wood blinds, 2.5 m² for roman blinds and 3 m² for vertical blinds.

What is included in the price?
Everything it takes to hang it: the track or pole for a curtain, the headrail with its chain or cords for a blind, and the fitting. A blackout curtain comes with its four-pass lining, and a sheer with a blackout shares a double track at no extra cost. The measuring visit is free.
Is there a minimum size for blinds?
Yes. Roller and faux wood blinds are charged at least 2 m², roman blinds 2.5 m² and vertical blinds 3 m². So a small roller blind is never under AED 180, a roman blind AED 450 and a faux wood blind AED 420; a vertical blind is AED 240 in sunscreen or AED 330 in blackout.
How much do motorized curtains cost?
The curtain at its usual rate, plus a motorized track from AED 110 per metre and a motor from AED 700, fitted and programmed. A 200 × 300 cm blackout in pinch pleat with a Dooya wired motor is AED 1,460.
Somfy's tracks cost more than Dooya's, and motors run to AED 1,600. Remotes, switches and hubs cost extra.
Where can I buy cheap curtains in Dubai?
The cheapest curtain is a ready-made panel from a homeware store, and on a small, standard window it is the right buy. Made to measure, the least we charge per m² of window is a sheer in pinch pleat, at AED 70.
How much do curtains cost for a whole apartment?
The two-bedroom flat worked out on this page comes to AED 4,080. That is a sheer and a blackout in the living room and main bedroom, a blackout in the second bedroom and a roller blind in the kitchen. With blinds only, the same rooms come to AED 2,220.
Your own figure depends on the windows, and a larger order gets a better rate, worked out at the free measuring visit.

No, it is an estimate from the base rate. The final figure follows the free measuring visit, where we see the window and how it is reached, and nothing is cut before you have seen it.
Do tall or double-height windows cost more?
Yes, to fit. A window that needs scaffolding or access equipment to reach, such as double-height glass, costs more than the base rate, and so can other things about the job. We price it at the free measuring visit, once we have seen the window.
The curtain itself is priced the same way as any other: a taller drop simply takes more fabric.
How do I pay?
You pay a deposit before we make anything, and the balance once it is fitted. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or in instalments with Tabby or Tamara.
How long does it take?
Curtains and blinds are usually fitted within about a week of your go-ahead, after the free measuring visit, and carry a two-year warranty.
